The processing of fruit starts with healthy and delicious fruit. SCF owns a number of private farms but also chooses to work with local growers in Suriname. Only growers that SCF has a contract with may sell to for SCF. The growers are trained by SCF and work according to an agreed set of rules. All these growers conform to all quality standards of SCF and the rules of hygiene, food security and environment. Additionally, all participating farms are GLOBALG.A.P. Certified.
