GLOBALG.A.P.

The nurseries of SCF and its out growers are GLOBALG.A.P. certified. The GLOBALG.A.P. standard for Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) is a standard that applies to the production process of fruits and vegetables and the process prior to the production process. The standard covers the certification of the entire agricultural production process of the product from the cultivation of the plant (with regard to origin and source material) to the raw product. GLOBALG.A.P. provides for the standard and the framework for independent, accredited third-party certification of production processes of agricultural and horticultural products based on ISO/IEC Guide 65. Certification of this process ensures that only those products that meet the established a certain level on good agricultural practices (GAP), as described in the documents of GLOBALG.A.P.be certified.
